Sugar Alcohol?? Now I understand

Now I know what the hell happened to me. It’s all the SUGAR ALCOHOL!!

I have never seen that before. This was on a bag of candy (that I can’t have anymore thanks to my FNP)
but that will be for another blog post when I’m bored.

The wiki entry of it is as follows: In commercial foodstuffs sugar alcohols are commonly used in place of table sugar (sucrose), often in combination with high intensity artificial sweeteners to counter the low sweetness. Sugar alcohols do not contribute to tooth decay.

So, where is the $787 Billion of Stimulus money going??

All this fricking money is going towards what?? Tax relief, Medicaid relief? What the heck good is that gonna do? Great, our county “expects” to get $24 million of Medicaid relief over 2 years. What jobs is that going to create?

Sleep Time?

Bored as hell. Very Slow at work. Pass the damn stimulus bill. I could use some stimulation you know HAHA

Being slow gives me time to do…………Um??  I hate being slow. I always end up looking around at junk thats been laying around for 10 or 15 years when its slow and wondering WHY THE HELL DO WE STILL HAVE THIS???

And I FINALLY did it. Some guy came in, plopped all his stuff on the counter and proceeded to talk on his cell so loud for about 10 minutes. I went out back, got my phone and googletalked and listened to music at the counter while he talked. People are such asses, arent they?

B'Day gifts

What else could you want for your birthday? Carrot Cake, hot tamales, 3 boxes of matches, firestarters and a fire log.  Pretty nice huh??

This is what we get for going out for birthday dinner with BF buddy and his family. Guess he’s trying to tell me something. Either it’s time for a big old bonfire or he’s passing the “torch” so to speak.

Next weekend we’ll melt some snow so I just need him to hold tight. Valentines day bonfire on tap.

It’s Wednesday

It’s cold as heck here today. -5° when me and the dogs were out this morning. Oh well, thats winter I guess.

Sitting here engraving a plate (yeah I’m on the internet too. tough shit. I’m the Pres. after all) Things to do.

• Get the rest of the garbage here on Ebay. Worked out very well do far.
• Order new computers. These 5 year old POS just arent worth the hassle and one morning POOF that will be that when they die.
• Sweep my floor? Na, I havent tripped over the dust yet

Other than that not sure. The plate has just finished engraving. Until next time.

Needless to say, we all had a blast at “The Legion”

Dude was playing country music for the most part but who cares. We all had a good time. Final beer count was as follows:

It’s almost been a month

Where has the month gone. I havent even blogged yet this year. Go ahead, I SUCK.

Whats new………..not a heck of a lot. Work is going ok. Could be busier, could be slower. Making the best of a crappy economy. Last year ended up pretty good.  Better than I expected, seeing though for a few months I was a week or so ahead on work.

Fat people……I’m realizing how many there actually are. I can see people going into a local restaurant. So many people are FAT ASSES! Seriously. These are the people I see every single day going out to eat. Hmm, can’t they put 2 and 2 together? Some people I see are pretty gross. Wish I could find the picture of the “pregnant guy” I really though he was that guy I heard about who popped out a kid. Gross!

Winter………yeah it’s winter. The whiners are around…..IT’S COLD. IT’S SNOWING. WHEN WILL SUMMER COME?? During the summer they spout out…IT’S HOT. IT’S RAINING. WHEN WILL WINTER COME.

Havent had a bonfire in way too long. I cant believe there is almost a foot of snow in the yard. Me and “Bonfire Buddy” need to get off our asses dont you think?

Went to a local “toothless” town’s Legion Hall a couple weeks ago and we’re going again Friday. Band, beer (free beers once in while if the bartender we know is there)

What else….I really need to blog more. I used to blog every single day. Why I havent, beats me. Yell at me. Make me blog. I can actually be funny sometimes.

Wife got a new car. It’s got Sync on it. So damn cool it isn’t funny. It can even pronounce my last name correctly too. Wonder if when my truck lease is up next year if I’ll get it too? What you think??

Work is slow. The weather today sucks. People don’t drive in the snow. Here’s to a good 2009. Hopefully all this economic stuff will get sorted out. I have high hopes the new Prez. will get something accomplished.

Xmas was good. Everyone was happy. Wife gets to clean floors with her gift and I get to clear trees with mine. She won, didn’t she?

Welcome to Technology 101

I LOVE MY NEW PHONE!!!!!

 

I’ve been playing for almost a day now. Got my new Storm Monday. I love the thing!!!! Technology is awesome (I’m a techno-phile) I love new stuff. I was Bill Gates father in my first life or something.

It’s pretty incredible how far we’ve come. I remember the first computer I build for home. Had to build one cause we couldn’t afford the $2500 for a new one. It was WAY more than we could afford. HAHA I’m pretty sure my TV has more memory and computing power than that thing did. Shit, the 4 of us have phones. “The Wife” has a Blackberry Pearl (it’s a girlie phone thank  you), I got the storm, “The Boy” has my hand me down which was a Voyager, and “The Girl” has an Envy. she’s a texting MACHINE!!!

We’re into technology here. We dumped the home phone cause why pay $40.00 for 4 calls a month. We’ve got a big “pipe” coming into the house to cure our web browsing addiction (and my weather one too) and whenever something new and improved comes out, we somehow end up with it. Fine with me really

Just gotta get the techno-stuff to rub off on work. I hate some of the crap we have there. No reason for 5 year old electronics to be around is there? That was a previous rant so we’ll leave it at that (for now)

Not much else. X-mas is almost here. A couple of big snowstorms on the way too. Wednesday, Friday and Monday I believe. So be it, don’t bother me unless I’ve gotta spend 90 minutes before work snow blowing the driveway.

Question. Anyone know of kids who BRING THEIR OWN TABLE SETTING TO TACO BELL????? Like dishes, silverware, glasses and even a candle. I know someone who does. It’s my boy. He told me this and even sent a picture too. OMFG him and his friends kill me. So FUNNY! And “The Boy” tells me, him and his friend were pretending to be the gay parents of the of the other one.

I woulda been on the floor if I hear al that. Funny thing is I cant get him to be in the school plays. He’s a natural. Instead him and some of his other clown car friends sit in front next to the stage doing the lights. Making the kids laugh and forget their lines. Shining laser pointers on the girls boobs, you know, acting like clowns!
