I LOVE MY NEW PHONE!!!!!

 

I’ve been playing for almost a day now. Got my new Storm Monday. I love the thing!!!! Technology is awesome (I’m a techno-phile) I love new stuff. I was Bill Gates father in my first life or something.

It’s pretty incredible how far we’ve come. I remember the first computer I build for home. Had to build one cause we couldn’t afford the $2500 for a new one. It was WAY more than we could afford. HAHA I’m pretty sure my TV has more memory and computing power than that thing did. Shit, the 4 of us have phones. “The Wife” has a Blackberry Pearl (it’s a girlie phone thank  you), I got the storm, “The Boy” has my hand me down which was a Voyager, and “The Girl” has an Envy. she’s a texting MACHINE!!!

We’re into technology here. We dumped the home phone cause why pay $40.00 for 4 calls a month. We’ve got a big “pipe” coming into the house to cure our web browsing addiction (and my weather one too) and whenever something new and improved comes out, we somehow end up with it. Fine with me really

Just gotta get the techno-stuff to rub off on work. I hate some of the crap we have there. No reason for 5 year old electronics to be around is there? That was a previous rant so we’ll leave it at that (for now)

Not much else. X-mas is almost here. A couple of big snowstorms on the way too. Wednesday, Friday and Monday I believe. So be it, don’t bother me unless I’ve gotta spend 90 minutes before work snow blowing the driveway.

Question. Anyone know of kids who BRING THEIR OWN TABLE SETTING TO TACO BELL????? Like dishes, silverware, glasses and even a candle. I know someone who does. It’s my boy. He told me this and even sent a picture too. OMFG him and his friends kill me. So FUNNY! And “The Boy” tells me, him and his friend were pretending to be the gay parents of the of the other one.

I woulda been on the floor if I hear al that. Funny thing is I cant get him to be in the school plays. He’s a natural. Instead him and some of his other clown car friends sit in front next to the stage doing the lights. Making the kids laugh and forget their lines. Shining laser pointers on the girls boobs, you know, acting like clowns!

4″ of snow, the roads sucked (for people without an F-150 ) my computer decided to say F you to me.

It’s 5 years old. It is well past it’s prime I believe.  Lets start the wishlist HAHA.

I’m back once more

Been a while since I last blogged.

Survived Thanksgiving Dinner with the MIL & SIL. Not bad. We finished off 2 bottles of wine. Made the time go faster.

Been decorating the  house for Christmas. Into it this year. Problem is we bought a bunch of stuff already. Places like Lowes already had 25% and 50% off sales. There is nothing  left to buy even though we’d like more.

Have added more stuff, but no pictures yet. Was even out there is 30mph winds with Lake effect snow today. I was warm so not a big deal.

Winter is here. The pellet stove goes all the time. Beats turning on the heat. Plus a hell of a lot cheaper than the boiler running.

Went out with bonfire buddy and his wife last night. It’s been a couple weeks since we saw them last. I think him and me both needed a fix. It was business as usual at dinner. Plus we’re gonna do something for New Year Eve. Hope we get some snow between now and then. Will be a great night for a bonfire, especially if the ground freezes and I can drag some leftover logs out back to burn.

Other than that, work is good. Been busier than the past month. I’m more happy having stuff to do. I hate to be bored out of my mind. Where’s the year gone. Seemslike it wsa just January, and here comes another.

We burned a lot of stuff. the rain stopped and it was really muddy. Ended up dismantling the club house by hand was fun and a great cardio workout.  Check out the picts and the aftermath too

It’s raining….the clubhouse is stuck in the yard too

It raining. Looks like there are some holes soon. The yard is a swamp, so te clubhouse is stuck in the side yard. Got the truck stuck too pulling it. So me and “the boys” smashed it with axes, which we broke 2 of them LOL

We’re still gonna burn NO MATTER WHAT. I’ve got about 20 pallets under a tarp.

This is gonna be BIG!

I’m actually getting a little worried about this weekends BONFIRE CELEBRATION.

Some of them are like 10 feet long. Gonna give the 4 wheeler a good workout. All that plus 2 stacks of pallets. This is only one of the stacks we have. Will we be able to do it up good and burn everything? Worse comes to worse, there’s always New Years Eve’s fire upcoming too.

I think we’re gonna try and get this fire seen from 22.7 miles above the earth by a spy satellite. I betcha we can do it. We’ve done it before. I just cant imagine how many people are coming. We’re figuring it’s gonna be a full house yard.We know how to party suddenly. Beer, Booze, Rock Band, The WII, and a Big Bonfire.

I keep telling my bonfire buddy, that we need to make a business doing this. Sorta like those dudes who go around with those jump houses for kids parties. We can do this for adults. Supply us with a spot in the yard you dont like anymore, and we’ll supply the stuff to burn. There is always wood laying on the side of the road to burn. Funny part is, now cause of him, I find myself slowing down to look when i see wood on the saide of the road. Is that bad??

Some of my family will be there Saturday also. Think they’ll be scratching their heads wondering WTF happened to me? HAHA Betcha! Lots of pictures, maybe some video, and I might even hook up the web cam for a live streaming look at the festivities.

UPDATE: Tried to move some of the “town” wood. OMFG Some of them are SO big. We dragged the clubhouse down the road too. Sadly, my phone was DOA so no video. Lets just say this was me in my truck following it down the road:

Wine, Cheese and Me??

Went to a wine tasting party Saturday. Yup, believe it or now, I have dressed up 3 times this year now. Wine, cheese, lots of laughs, doctor’s and their wife’s, plastic surgery, fake boobs, all that stuff rolled up into one party. Me and my friend tried the wine, but he found their stash of beer. It was Sam Adams Lager, but it was better than the wine. Not into swirling and tasting. Drink the damn stuff. Thats all.

We bailed and went to a bar and shot pool. A bar we’d last been to probably 20 years ago. Think there was crap on the floor more than 20 years old too LOL

Got 2 loads of stuff for the SPECTACULAR bonfire on Saturday. Should place bets on how many days till the pile stops smoking. I think the record SO FAR is 3 days of it being hot. We’ll see what we can do about that, and see what I can do to make my mom think I have a “PROBLEM” with fire. Not like I was gonna make me and bonfire buddy tour shirts for all our fires or nothing…..JEEZ!!
